Chicken Farming in Cambodia

I learned that chickens are very docile (at least when they’re hot) and their legs feel like a thick human finger.

Many thanks to Tirua for letting me document his chickens on the day they were sold.

Question: If a photograph is taken but no one ever sees it, was it ever taken in the first place?

28 Weeks

Color Changes the Mood

The situation is dire.

Yesterday my external hard-drive containing all of my photographs began to malfunction. I’ve tried plugging it into different computers but none of the computers will recognize the hard-drive.

I’ve spoken briefly with the IT department and they say it doesn’t look good. I’ll find out tomorrow if ANYTHING can be done.

The ironic part is I finally purchased another external hard-drive to back the other one up, but didn’t and now it’s too late.

As you read this, I hope you are moved to back-up your data. I’m holding on to hope that this is not the end.

Sunday at Preak Pneu

Preak Pneu is about 30 minutes north of Phnom Penh. I visited a church and the government school around the corner which is next door to a Buddhist temple. The church meets in a building that Asian Hope uses for a catch-up school. The playground equipment you see in the photos were donated by an international school established by Asian Hope.
